Dragged a little:
Ms. Hitchcock's books are very well written and have good character and plot development. This one had an interesting plot and characters but about 100 pages too long. The ending was great, it just took too long to get there.
Good Read:
I enjoyed this book much better than "Social Crimes," as it didn't seem to drag on much longer than it should have. I had hoped to find another Jo Slater book since it's been so longer since this one was written, but I guess that's not in the author's cards. I do hope she changes her mind, as I'd like to revisit this cast of characters in a new setting.
