Drood by Dan Simmons

If you are a fan of the novels of Charles Dickens, or simply love to read great mysteries, or both, you’re sure to love reading Drood. In length, and its sometimes Dickensian use of language, it reminded me of some of Dickens’s own novels.

Think Twice by Lisa Scottoline

The battle between right and evil is brought out in “Think Twice” all the way through the book and it will have you laughing, crying, moving your legs trying to run while reading, and never knowing what the next page will bring. An excellent story.
