Wolf Song Visions by Scott Reade and Linda Reade

Reviewed by Laura Goodwin

This book is written about two people who are brought together by reincarnation some four hundred years ago. It is not really what I consider fiction loosely, but a hint of non-fiction. Basically it could be considered in the Native American storytelling genre. The book is truly unique because it is really hard to classify, but basically could be a love story.
The authors are going by two different names in the book, Lela and Kahla who are brought together by destiny. The center of the story is there journey to Drum Rock. We learn later in the novel that the places they are describing really took place per the author. Scott and Linda are very descriptive in their writing and the reader can visualize completely the scenery that is unfolding. Lela and Kahla are both on a spiritual vision and find out that they do have a purpose here on life. At the end of the book, the reader sees that Scott makes the same pilgrimage to Drum rock and it is affirmed that he had been there once before.
I really enjoyed the photos in the book, as most are actual paintings of the author. This was truly a long book to digest, not meant for a quick read. There is a glossary at the back of the book that I found myself having to refer back to frequently. The book might be better suited for someone who is familiar with the Native American culture.

I enjoyed the message in this book about how people are losing sight of what really matters in life. The author’s reference faith in a person’s life shows how the Creator has planned your destiny for you. There are many distractions along the way, all challenges that we can learn from. I really like the spiritual meaning of this book and how everyone has a divine purpose.

I liked this book and would recommend it to anybody who is fascinated with reincarnation and the Native American culture. It also could be geared towards those who are pro-environment and practice going green. A great addition to a family reading library where the young and old can enjoy.

Thank you for posting this review. However, as one of the authors of this work, I must comment that Wolf Song Visions is not a novel, it is non-fiction. We just received notice that Wolf Song Visions placed as a Finalist in the INDY Book Awards in the New Age Non-Fiction catagory.
    Thank you for the review!
